The Systemic Hypertension journal is a quarterly peer reviewed, open access periodical, which is being published since 2008. Online version of the journal is available from 2014. The journal is published on behalf of the Russian Society of Hypertension. It serves interests of cardiologists, neurologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals who deal with hypertension by providing clinical information and practical recommendations for various aspects in the field of hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases. It provides up-to-date and authoritative coverage of ongoing research and clinical practice relevant to healthcare specialists in CIS and other countries. 

Russian and foreign scientists and medical practitioners including cardiologists, endocrinologists, and clinical pharmacologists publish their research papers in the journal. The Systemic Hypertension journal publishes articles in the following areas: hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, modern diagnostics and treatment methods. At present time it has acquired wide recognition and popularity among healthcare specialists.
